Katie Rabalais (She/Her), Graduate Intern
Hello, my name is Katie Rabalais (She/Her/Hers)! I am a Graduate Student at Midwestern State University, and I am in the process of completing my Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I received my Bachelor’s degree in English and History from the University of Arkansas. The dedication I have put in over the last several years have seen my completion of all necessary coursework in my graduate program to provide counseling services. To offer the best counseling possible, I am supervised by Ashley Hubbard, MS, NCC, LPC, LMHC, at Vibrant Journey Counseling PLLC. I will also be supervised by my University Supervisor, ___________.
I have spent the last seven years working in the field of education, which is where my passion for mental health treatment blossomed. I watched, listened, and guided students through difficult times to the best of my ability. However, after several years I realized that where I could do the most good was in a counseling session and not delivering English curriculum. Most of my career has been spent with high school age people, and I am looking forward to branching out and working with all ages.
In my “Me Time” I spend all my hours listening to true crime podcasts, watching historical documentaries, and reading voraciously. I am the proud pet-mom of two dogs, one cat, and a snake. My favorite forms of self-care are writing/journaling, watching comfort movies and tv shows, and playing cozy video games. Now that you know me a little better, I cannot wait for the opportunity to meet you!
