Lucy Hatch (She/Her), Graduate Intern

Hello! My name is Lucy (She/Her/Hers) and I’m currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Midwestern State University. I have a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from Texas Tech University. While at Texas Tech I worked at the Texas Tech Child Development Research Center where I went on to teach preschool for a brief time. Most of my experience is working with young children in non-clinical settings, so I look forward to expanding my knowledge of working with children in a therapeutic way.
I am at the point in my graduate program where I have completed all required coursework to be able to effectively work with a variety of clients. As a student counselor I have been trained in non-directive play therapy approaches. I can work with individuals experiencing anxiety/depression, young adults going through life transitions, as well as children and adolescents.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship should be of upmost importance and with a strong therapeutic alliance working towards positive change is a possibility. My goal is to work alongside clients and help them discover and live as their most authentic self.
Lucy is available to see clients for $30 per session.
