Olivia Szabo (She/Her), LPC-Associate, Supervised by Ginny Manley, LPC-S

Hi! My name is Olivia (She/Her/Hers), and I have a passion for working with adolescent and adult individuals from all walks of life. I love to implement art and play techniques, so if you love to color or play video games, I encourage you to bring those interests to our sessions!

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, in 2019. I recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. During my graduate program, I interned with my university’s community clinic and got to work remotely with individuals from all over the state of Texas. Meeting so many different people and hearing different stories was a rewarding experience.
Creating a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment is my top priority, and I hope you will trust me with your story and experiences. During our time together, we may explore past and current behavior patterns, relationships, thought patterns, and your own goals for the future. I hope to give you the tools you need regarding self-esteem and identity, boundary setting, and helping you get closer to your goals. The speed at which therapy may take depends; some have very quick changes, and for others, it’s more gradual. I like to think of counseling like archeology; we brush off the dust gently to reveal what’s underneath, for if we were to pull it out haphazardly, we may damage something along the way.

When not working, I love spending time with my dog, Kirby, my boyfriend, and my family. I love spending my free time playing video games, reading or listening to audiobooks, and watching shows/anime. I look forward to working with you!

Olivia has immediate availability and can see clients for a reduced fee of $80 per session.
