Clovis Grayson (They/Them), Graduate Intern
Hello! My name is Clovis (They/Them/Theirs), and I am a Graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Midwestern State University. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am supervised by Ashely Hubbard, MS, NCC, LPC, LMHC at Vibrant Counseling and my University Supervisor, Dr. Tara Fox, Ph.D., LPC-S.
My counseling approach is holistic and centers on the client being the expert of their own experience. I seek to walk side-by-side with you authentically so that I can facilitate your journey on your own path in a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space. I also integrate social justice and address the systemic issues marginalized individuals face on a personal level. I focus primarily on trauma, marginalized experiences, and LGBT+ issues. I work with older teens and young adults.
In my free time, I love being with my chosen Queer family and my cat Momo. I have fun running a homebrew Dungeons and Dragons campaign, making stained glass art, and studying traditional Hellenistic astrology. I often say that my hobby is collecting hobbies.
I look forward to getting to know you!
