Marilyn Wade (She/Her), Graduate Intern

Hello!  My name is Marilyn Wade (she/her) and I am a Graduate student currently working towards a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Midwestern State University.  In order to ensure you are receiving the best care possible, I am supervised by Ashley Hubbard, M.S., NCC, LPC, LMHC at Vibrant Journey Counseling and my University Supervisor, Dr. Tara Fox, Ph.D., LPC-S.

Do you feel overwhelmed, overburdened or burned-out?  My goal is to help you successfully manage life’s challenges in a non-judgmental, safe, supportive and confidential space.  I particularly love empowering women to navigate difficulties and obtain encouragement, positivity and peace in their personal and professional lives.  I also enjoy helping individuals achieve their next level in their career, personal or relationship goals.  I can work with adults from all walks of life.

I have 15+ years of career development counseling experience with college students and adults in university and private practice settings.  I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Tulane University.  

In my spare time, I adore spending time with my husband and daughter, who is also a college student!  Together, we enjoy traveling, swimming, sightseeing, sampling new restaurants and at-home movie marathons.

Marilyn is able to see clients for $30 per session.
